Daniela Diaz – violin

Venezuelan violinist Daniela Diaz is passionate about the transformative power of the arts, dedicating her career to leading innovative initiatives that advance social impact through music education and cultural engagement.

Daniela’s musical journey began in El Sistema, the internationally recognized Venezuelan movement that advances social change through music. As a member of the Simón Bolívar Orchestra of Venezuela, she performed under the batons of Gustavo Dudamel, Claudio Abbado, and Sir Simon Rattle. Daniela earned her Master’s degree in Violin Performance as a Graduate Assistant to Dmitri Berlinsky at Michigan State University. Following the completion of her musical degrees, she received an MBA in Arts Innovation from the Global Leaders Institute’s, an international program that equips arts leaders with tools in social entrepreneurship, cultural policy, and sustainable creative enterprise.

Now serving as Chief Programs Officer at The Orchestra San Antonio, Daniela combines her artistic vision with a deep commitment to driving meaningful pathways for education and community impact in the city she now calls home, San Antonio, Texas.
